Virtual Food Factory
The Virtual Food Factory aims to integrate the ICT sector with the food sector, making the Øresund Region leading in using ICT in the food value chain.
The project is an example of the cross-sectorial collaboration Øresund IT seeks to initiate. Together with Øresund Food Network we have received funding for the project to increase interaction between the ICT and food clusters in the Øresund region.

The borderline between Food and IT has considerable growth potentials with respect to optimisation and automation of food manufacturing, logistics and e-business, quality assurance as well as the use of wireless techniques. The project is focused around the following areas:
