Øresund IT cooperation the strength of the Øresund Region is marketed both regionally and globally. The ultimate goal is to strengthen the Øresund Region's position as one of the world's most important growth regions within ICT.
Øresund Region - Major Scandinavian ICT Cluster
Øresund is the cross border region that combines the southern part of Sweden and the eastern part of Denmark entailing Copenhagen. The ICT sector in Øresund is one of the largest in Scandinavia; with a vast amount of researcher working within high potential areas like micro- and nanotechnology and wireless technology.
The concentration of innovation centres ensures that the region moves in the frontline within research; and the businesses as well as the people in Øresund are heavy users of new technology.
