Øresund IT increases projects in 2008

Øresund IT’s annual meeting was held in innovative and creative surroundings at Ørestad Gymnasium. Discussion and networking provided more than 20 members with inspiration for new business opportunities.

The innovative environment at Ørestad Gymnasium set the scene for Øresund IT’s annual meeting where the main focus was how Øresund IT could strengthen its members by developing new innovative projects in 2008.

– We will continue strengthening the IT sector in the Øresund Region taking our successful projects from 2007 as our starting point and establishing new projects based on our members innovative ideas, says Peter Höjerback, CEO at Øresund IT.

Continuing successful projects

Projects such as Living Labs Øresund have been very successful in 2007 and therefore Øresund IT continues developing groundbreaking projects in 2008. The members were very positive.

- It is great that Øresund IT will strengthen their focus on projects in 2008. This is a great match to what we do in Sony Ericsson, says Christian Nord, Head of Standardization at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.

 

Increasing opportunities for members

The focus on projects will also give the members a greater opportunity to influence what projects to initiate in the future. Peter Höjerback encourages the members to inspire and give ideas to projects, they could be facilitated by Øresund IT.

- We are very interested in being a part of the network, which Øresund IT is providing. The increased focus on projects suits us perfectly, as we are here to suggest and inspire new projects and find partners to cooperate with, says Sam Kondo Steffensen, CEO at MillionBrains.
