Companies become greener with IT
IT is a Scandinavian climate technology on the par with windmills. It is a part of the climate challenge and plays a major role, when we need to utilize the energy efficient to reduce the global CO2 emission. There is only 22 months to that the world’s countries meet at UN COP15 in Copenhagen to solve the climate challenges. The IT industry can play a critical role within this field. To start with the IT industry must acknowledge that fact that an increasing part of the energy consumption comes from IT. There is a need for a strategic shift both from customers and suppliers if the energy consumption is to be reduced. With a greater focus on visualization, new refrigerate technology and data center design.
